Before coding challenge, interviewer asked some questions and wanted to know the answer in detail. It wasted 20 minutes. In the coding challenge he kept modifying the use cases. He asked some design question which he was not really clear of or was expecting some fixed answers it seems. When I explained with multiple possibilities and use case he kept asking same question and did not add/give example to understand scenarios
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Most challenging recent work
2. Questions around things you'd consider while design/develop of new service
3. custom coding challenge to create a middleware service.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ThousandEyes (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2022
Interview
After the first engagement I already had doubts about their interview process, seeing the ratio of rejected canditates vs offers extended and candidates feedbacks on Glassdoor and elsewehere.
Pros:
- Nice people to talk to
Cons:
- Very demanding interview process (6 steps / > 1 month)
- Lower salary range than market
I have been through many interviews, on both sides, and I personally found their expectations to be unreasonable.
Interviews are energy and time consuming, I should have listened my original doubts and avoid wasting 1 month.

2. React or vue component

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ThousandEyes (Austin, TX) in Jul 2020
Interview
Recruiter called and spoke about 15-20 minutes. Then scheduled a video telephone interview on coder pad. In the video interview, They asked me about my resume for 15 minutes and some high level tech questions, what I do day to day in my current job. How is my current process in the company for code deploys etc., Later jumped into the technical algorithm round.
I did the algo very well and gave a solution in O(1) solution. I explained it throughly and also solved it well. I struggled a little at some parts but i was able to complete it on time passing the test case.
I was told the next day that they are not moving to the next round. And like others mentioned they did not even give any reason on why they rejected me. I spent 2 weeks preparing for it and all i get is a reject without a reason.
