I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY)
Interview
Was first approached through a head hunter about this opening for a replacement hire. Then I met with the supervisor I would be working for and members of his team that I would be working with. Everything went well except for the discussion regarding compensation. I had made clear to the headhunter my current salary and salary requirements to make the move, but that information did not make it to the employer.
Depends on your role, expertise, experience and scope that you are applying for, they will then determine how many stages, how many rounds, how many interviewers are required for the interview process.

Interview
There are generally three rounds of interview with final round with MD or equivalent generally. Difficulty level of the interview varies but all three rounds are technical in nature. Sometimes there could be two rounds only with third being HR
