Initially a JD is offered via a third party. I got interested and went in for an initial interview and was asked to filled up an application form, which was pretty lengthy. In addition, I had to complete the technical test, which was marked by the hiring manager. My result was reviewd. After some weeks' waiting, I was called in to be interviewed by the HR personnel, who revealed the renumeration package to me.

Interviewed at Boston Career Fair for UBS Hong Kong FICC. Pre-screened by a short phone interview, was asked two brain teasers and some fit. Got invited to a dinner at Boston Career Fair and interviewed with MD next morning. The interview last 30 minutes, a lot of brain teaser, and was asked to do a SHL numerical test after that. Haven't been contacted by HR since than.

Interview
For the regional offices the interview and applicaiton process is not as difficult or competitive. Usually, your interview will be with the branch manager. It is a great starting place though and great experience. The interview is probably 95% behavioral. So, just know your story, your reasoning, and what you want in the future.
