UL Solutions interview questions

Was emailed to do a phone interview. Phone interview was with HR lady. A couple days later I was asked to schedule an in person interview. I interviewed with 2 people, 1 being my future direct supervisor and the other being his boss. Pretty easy interview process. Not many questions. Basically just told them about myself, experience, education. Most of the interview was them telling me what my role would be, what the job would consist of, etc. At the end, I was asked if I had any questions for them. Always ask questions, makes you seem interested which can lead to getting the position. I was offered the position on the spot.

During the interview you have to show you have technical ability, but also show you fit in to the culture and hierarchy. Be personable and honest--those go a long way. Be able to describe at least one or two accomplishments from your previous work. Also be prepared for a non-work question like, 'what kind of movies do you like?'
