I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Air Force (Las Vegas, NV) in Feb 2023
Interview
I reached out to the US Air Force in February to serve my country as an Officer. the first recruiter said to me that no matter what major I graduate college in, I would be able to enter OTS as long as my GPA and academics were in the clear. After completing the pre-screen questions and basic information, another recruiter reached out to me and stated that my qualifications that were already high were not enough for any of the positions that the Air Force had to offer and that I'd be better off in the enlisted ranks. They haven't reached out to me since to even discuss any enlisted roles and I feel disappointed in the lack of professionalism that they've shown to me since and I've sadly lost any desire to serve my country.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at US Air Force (McKinney, TX)
Interview
A lot of paperwork and talking with recruiter. Make sure you are patient and fully understand what you are signing up for. Keep a list of references as you will need to provide several.

Question 1
The most important thing relevant to this process is ASVAB score and criminal history.
Can be long depending on careeerfield. Recruiters have quotas and jobs to fill. If you go in looking for one of their in demand jobs it can be quick.jobs that are less in demand by the air force can take a while to pop up and some recruiters will only work with people looking for in demand jobs.
