I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Puyallup, WA) in Aug 2021
Interview
It is a long process to got through the reserves and get an interview with your potential unit, but the relationships you form and the people you meet are second to none. They are some of the best individuals that you can learn from.
There weren't any interview processes; there were several different courses to attend. Including a preliminary course, and then the tech school. Training time alone was just over or under two years, depending on the individual. The whole time is an intro into the career field and an overarching interview process.

Why did you join this career field?
Straightforward and very interested in my experience with different methods of Nondestructive Testing on and off aircraft maintenance. They were interested in my certifications and education throughout the Air Force and how it can benefit their company.
