I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Army (Idaho Falls, ID) in Jul 2009
Interview
You can become a pilot with no degree or experience. Don't let the recruiters tell you to become a crew chief first. You can do it from"street to seat" as they say.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just because you have college and can learn doesn't mean you'll be ready for the amount of memorization you have to do as a pilot. Be prepared to study, study and study.
The process is detailed and involved. You must submit a military background resume, be able to obtain a secret or higher clearance, pass the flight aptitude test and a complete medical physical.
