Interview
The Board process is the military version of a promotion interview whereby your leadership bombards you with questions and tests your military baring and confidence. Quite frankly, it is archaic and useless as the decision to promote is often made before the board is convened. On the bright side, any future interviews will seem like a walk in the park.

Interview
There isn't one. You tell them what you want to do and you sign up! Depending on your test score, you may be able to pick your job if it is available. It is important to do your homework before. If you know what you want, stick to it and don't let the recruiters tell you different.
