I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Winston-Salem, NC) in Apr 2013
Interview
The process involved going to my local Armed Forces Career Center and talking with a recruiter. They asked many basic questions to see if I would be considered for enlistment. After I was informally approved, I was asked to fill out an enlistment agreement, and go to my local MEPS to take the ASVAB to place me for a job. Depending on what job you get, you will have a security interview to make sure you are eligible for the proper security clearance needed.
