There is no official interview, just visit a recruiter, he will ask you a few questions about you and thats it. Then take the test and pass it. There is no official interview, just visit a recruiter, he will ask you a few questions about you and thats it. Then take the test and pass it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Army (Manati, PR) in Jun 2011
Interview
In processing at local MEPS. Based on a series on physical exams etc... ASVAB test must be taken. Very friendly staff. Recruiters are very interactive with you and your family. Everything is very well explained and detailed out on how the process will be. Physical test training is available and very helpful if you are out of shape. Lots of 1:1 pep talks. Very informational and educational as well. There isn't much to say. You go see for yourself. Not everyone can join the world's best ARMY. Seek your local recruiting station and ask to speak with a recruiter for further questions. If you have any doubts you can always go to goarmy.com Hope this helps!
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Columbia, SC) in Jul 2013
Interview
A panel of three, two in-person and the third by video teleconference. They rotated asking questions. Very few of the questions actually had to do with the specific job and more with activities of the organization at the higher levels.
