They will always want you in R O T C . Make sure they get you a scholarship, not just a stipend. Great experience and great way to pay for college. Go Army.
By the time you are eligible to become an officer, you have probably already completed initial officer training through ROTC, West Point, or officer candidate school. In that sense, the interview process is much longer.
