I walked into the recruiters office and expressed my interest in serving. After submitting all required documentation and test scores, I went to the recruit processing station for medical review. Upon completion of their tests and being administered my oath I left for Ft. Sill.

Interview
I gained my Army commission through graduation from the United States Military Academy. The acceptance process to USMA is largely the same as any highly selective college, with physical fitness testing added.

Question 1
To go to USMA, you need to do essays and prove to be a well rounded person with leadership potential.
It is a military board. Very stressful because it is suposed to be. The lists are long and the slots are short so the best needs to stand out by carrying themselves with pride and power through the entire process, both in front of a board and on paper. It is not just a "good job," you need to show initiative a good thinking.
