As an AH-64 armament/electrical/avionic systems repairperson, you will maintain twin-engine attack helicopters. You will work on instruments, weapons, landing gear, rotors, and many other helicopter parts. The Army MOS for this job is 15Y. It is an entry-level job open to enlisted, active-duty personnel.

It’s really simple. If you’re a citizen, a HS graduate, and not a felon, you can join. If you have minor traffic tickets that can be explained, you should be good to go as well.

Interview in college for a scholarship. The senior officer asked what I wanted to do and if I was interested in receiving a 4-year scholarship. That was over eight years ago so I would say it worked out. Great way to explore the world.
