I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Well, first there was an email from a recuiter and then a test. The recruiter was just interested in free work. It was very impersonal. I never talked to an actual human. Worst interview process I have ever participated in.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
The interview process took far longer than any other job I have interviewed for. It would be sometimes up to a week or more between email communications. and it was over one month after the initial conversation that I had my in person interview and presentation.

Question 1
They asked me about my experiences when working with stakeholders and about voicing my opinion about a project.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied through school job board. Got contacted from an art director who then referred me to a recruiter a few days later.
At that time I already had an offer at home, so I told them I only have a week of grace period, and they expedited the entire interview process. The first round was chatting with a recruiter, then the hiring manager who is the design lead of the team.
After the phone interviews I got invited on-site just one day after my phone interviews. It was a mind blowing experience when I arrived at the office. It definitely feels like a well funded startup atmosphere, full of passionate people.
I presented my portfolio to at least 8 interviewers. First session was with all of them together, followed by in-person interviews. It lasted about 5 hours, but definitely didn't feel that long. In fact, I find the time too short because I'm learning so much just by speaking to each person.
Even though I did not get the job, I got a lot more in return, in terms of figuring out my life goals and why I am creating. The interviewers talked to me about their inspiring experiences, which I'll never forget. Hope for the chance to join their team one day.
