I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Santa Barbara, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
I went to the online website, found the employment page, started the application process, and three weeks later, I was on the road driving! Go Guber! Also, no mention on how difficult it is to actual speak to a live Uber representative. If you have fear of rejection-- this may be for you. Or if you need a job as soon as possible with only a 3 year quasi clean driving record.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Washington, DC)
Interview
Phone Screen, Phone interview, On site interview. Took 4 weeks. Got offer. Negotiated. Got final offer then accepted. Recruiter did a good job keeping me informed throughout
I was contacted through email initially to set up a call. Overall the call lasted about 20 minutes. I was told I would be contacted in a week if I got the job or not. I was never contacted for a rejection letter or an offer. Overall a negative experience because the recruiter did not do what they said they would do.
