I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2021
Interview
Phone screen, 2 rounds of video interview, a take home slide presentation, and a final panel interview. The only complaint is the take home assignment. Remember the company isn’t paying you to spend a week doing an assignment. So it becomes annoying that you are wasting time completing an assignment just for them to say no at the end. Value your time. Is it really worth the headache to do the assignment these assignments?
One interview with the recruiter, another one with the Manager and finally a Panel presentation to members of the team. The presentation is a case that must be prepared at home
The interview process was very well-organized and professional. It started with an initial screening with a recruiter, followed by several structured rounds with members of the operations and regional teams. Questions were a mix of behavioral and case-based, mostly focused on marketplace dynamics, decision-making and operational rigor.
Each interviewer was clear, respectful, and well-prepared, and the whole process moved quickly without unnecessary delays. I especially appreciated how transparent and communicative the recruiter was throughout. It made the experience feel thoughtful and efficient.
