I was told about the position from two people I know who work there, I was excited because I've heard really great things about this company. I sent in my resume straight through the Uline website and was called the next day to set up an interview. Unfortunately, they weren't interviewing for this position for a few weeks so I had to wait. While on the phone they prepared me for the interview by telling me that I would have multiple tests before I was actually interviewed in person. When I arrived everyone was so friendly and I did not have long to wait until they took me in for my tests. I took a spelling and typing test and two numbers assessments. After this, the hiring HR rep took me back for an interview and after talking for a while, he brought in the customer service manager who also interviewed me. They then tapped me into the phone lines with one of the customer service reps so I could listen to a call. After this, I went back to the interview room to talk with the other customer service manager and the branch manager. They called me a week later and offered me the postion. All in all a great interview. Everyone was so friendly and nice. I loved the friendly and open environment. The office is professional dress which was very impressive, as most companies no longer follow this policy. I sat on the offer for a few days until I heard back from another company that I had interviewed with. They were very interested in me and gave me time to consider my options. This is a very fast paced and fast growing company. It will only get bigger. They are hiring so many customer service reps at this time because the company is growing an average of 24% a year. They really stressed to me that they do not hire just anybody and you have to be extremely professional (but not stiff) and put together when you go in for your interview. They are absolutely looking for professional people who will fit well into their friendly and happy work environment.
