I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uline (Waukegan, IL) in Jan 2017
Interview
Saw that Uline was hiring for multiple positions for their location being built in Kenosha (opens end of summer 2017) and was ultimately selected to interview for the Customer Service Manager Trainee. Received a phone call the same day I applied. Set up the interview on a Thursday at their location in Waukegan, IL. When I arrived it was awkward at first, as there were about 20 of us packed into the somewhat smaller reception area. Once they moved us all to a conference room the tensions were eased as we all started talking with each other. We were administered two separate 4 minute exams. Then they took us individually to interview. Went really well so was asked to stay a little longer. Took another spelling and typing exam. Then interviewed with two more people. That also went well, so they had me listen in with a really nice customer service rep to get a feel for what the job was. After that they said they would get back to me to schedule a follow up interview to meet the person in charge of the department. That was last Thursday, and it is now Tuesday. Still waiting to hear back.
Upon reaching the office for the interview, I noticed there were 7 other people waiting in the lobby. A lady came out and called all of us into a conference room where we all sat at the table. We were then given assessment test, 2 of them to be exact. These were tests to gauge your visual matching abilities. Anyways each one of us were called in one at a time. Interviewer spend 6 minutes asking basic questions such as what were you doing in your previous job. Tell me about yourself was another. Interviewer then described the position briefly. After some basic questions the interviewer told me that they would contact me in six or seven days.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uline (Mississauga, ON) in Jan 2013
Interview
Applied online, received a phone call to setup a in-person interview and got emailed about 4 assessments. Went to the interview about a week after the initial call. Took two timed tests which were very easy. Then sat down with the hr recruiter. Interview was very basic and easy. No difficult questions at all. Asked to go through your resume and exactly what you did in your past jobs. What do you know about the company? Why do you wan to work for this company? How does this align with your career goals? Do you have any questions? She then said I would be contacted within a week with an answer on the next steps. I received an email saying thank you but blah blah blah we are pursuing other candidates.
Interview went really well and I had everything they were looking for and my experience and education lined up for what they were looking for. Therefore, I was really surprised with the outcome. Reading the different reviews on this website I had a feeling this was going to happen. Seems like they interview a ton of people and hand pick a select few.
