      Merchanising Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uline in Sep 2011

      Interview

When you get scheduled for an interview, you spend about 2-3 hours at home filing out questions and taking personality tests. At the first interview there are 2 timed testings that deal with multiple choice answers. If you pass those and the first interview, you get called in for a second interview. For me this interview was about 4.5 hours long. I interviewed three times each with a different hiring manager. Also had to go through testing on Excel, Access and Word. If they want you, you hear back right away through the whole process, if they do not it can take a few weeks to get the final verdict on an offer. It was rather painless, just time consuming.

      Question 1

Due to the position I was applying for the questions dealt with vendor skills and product specifics. There were not any off the wall questions.
