I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Apr 2008
Interview
I was told I had a job through a letter first, but that they had no idea when they would be starting a training class. Then I got a phone call on a Tuesday to say I started the following Monday- so I had to give my previous position LESS than a week's notice, which I felt was inconsiderate on Verizon's part. The process itself wasn't that hard, but they definitely don't let you know much about the position, benefits, or requirements until you've started. It's very regimented and secretive.

The personality questions on the website were a little personal and very repetitive.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
