I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2018
Interview
The process is fairly simple and straight forward. I applied via linkedin - verizon portal. I got a mail after 2 weeks for taking an montage vedio interview. We have to record answers to couple of questions. Questions are like below
1 . Why verizon
2.How you keep your self updated with latest technologies
3. How you resolve conflict with co-workers
4. Tell us about your past experience
5. Did you ever had a leadership opportunity/exp
etc.
Make sure you answer them honestly, not to learn the answers.
You cannot re-take the vedio recording. You get nearly 3 minutes for each question to answer. After submitting the vedio interview, I was contacted by HR after 2 weeks via mail.
I was selected for next round which was f2f. They will send you tickets and hotel booking. Really they are nice for taking care of your complete itinerary. When i went to Atlanta office, they gave us breakfast in morning, followed by that few presentations about the company, few people talk about the company and finally you go for an interview. Interview is about 30-45 minutes completely non-technical. I was just asked to write a fizz-buzz program and all other questions were related to resume / past experiences. After that you have to wait for 2 weeks for results.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Verizon
Interview
I attended the interview at my college campus. Three rounds interview was conducted. It was average interview experience. After each round an immediate mail was sent to the candidate stating about the result. The candidates who passed were able to proceed to the next round.
Virtual Teams meeting to see if you're a fit (personality-wise); not many questions. We talked about my resume and hobbies, and then I got asked 2 questions, 1 technical and 1 situational
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon
Interview
Only one stage. Spoke with recruiter, got hired on the spot at a conference. Was told by other interns they only had one phone interview. You don’t talk to the hiring manager until after you are hired and they match you with a team
