I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens in May 2012
Interview
I was interviewed first by the hiring manager, then by a series of 3 other leadership staff in collaborative IT areas. The interviews were very unorganized (the time kept changing) and appeared to be somewhat of a surprise to one of them. The recruiter was very professional and one of the best I have ever worked with and actually closed me very well. I am very well qualified for this position. So I was shocked to be passed over and the position 3 days later, and this position still goes unfilled.
I know a few people who have applied and been declined. No wonder these positions remain open. Maybe it's not the candidates?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Austin, TX) in Apr 2012
Interview
Hiring and Interview process doesn't take that long. I was called for an interview 1 week after I applied. Interview was really simple. Just like all the other interviews they asked why do I want to work there and stuff.
