Interview
I walked-in every single walgreens in town to speak with pharmacy manager for the job opening. I got lucky and got called in the next day. Pharmacy manager and the store manager asked handful of questions to find out why I want the job, why I am the best candidate, previous experiences with customers etc. They told me in many times they'd hire potential pharmacy technician candidate as cashier to see if they are trustworthy.

There's five steps. Phone interview, 1 on 1 interview, skills test, and a drug test, and agreeing to some terms and policies. I applied online, this allows my application to be seen by everyone in the district I applied for so any manager looking to hiring someone could see my application. The supervisor of the intern program gave me a call and interviewed me in person. They were very nice and easy to talk to. Most of the questions related to leadership skills. The skills test also had a lot of situational questions.

The online application and response after was very quick approximately three days after its completion i received a call for an interview. The interview was two parts in which i took two tests one with math and conversion the next with the system you would be using when dealing with customers, in vain almost i did great on both but not the one on one interview. During the one on one interview i noticeably froze up so to speak but it was a great learning experience.
