Easy interview normal questions. To less than 5 minutes to apply and interview was direct to the point and needs. Explain benefits and perks before hand when you get there
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Zanesville, OH) in Jul 2023
Interview
Firstly, the job posting had errors; I could not find if it was full time, or part time, and it contained a section describing work at the meat counter, not bakery. I not only filled out an application, but they sent a ridiculous assessment, with all sorts of “questions” as to how I would handle situations. Usually this kind of questioning would be reserved for an actual interview, but not in 2023! Let a computer do it. I received a phone call about a week later. The person from Walmart/Sam’s Club gave me HER schedule to come in and have an interview, which was high on the point that she wanted me to come in, that SAME day, before 2:30pm! It was already close to 10am. I told her that wouldn’t be possible, as I am currently employed- and then I mentioned I had a question about the posting as it did not list if it was full time, or part time. It was then I noticed the line had gone absolutely silent… I had been hung up on. No disconnect tone. I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited for a quick call back in apology— nothing! About a week later, I received an email saying they had “decided to go a different way”. So companies, specifically Walmart companies, are now penalizing and HANGING UP on potential employees who dare to ask a clarifying question? Are you kidding me?

Question 1
The questions were very: would you do this, or would you do that. No room for actual answers
