I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Lexington, SC) in Jan 2017
Interview
I had already been working for the company for years. I took the assessment test, passed and someone from another store called to interview me about the position. I had put in a transfer to other stores in the area and someone I previously worked with called to offer me the job. So I really didn't have to go through a real interview process. It did take about a month for me to transfer but that was my store's fault.

Question 1
Talk about the time you dealt with an upset customer and how you handled the situation.
The process was very easy. Asked basic questions. I’m not sure if they pay much attention to your scheduling needs, however. Just answer honestly, and you will be fine. If you do have any scheduling issues, be sure to tell them so they can adjust your schedule if it suits their needs.
