I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart in Aug 2016
Interview
I first had a small phone interview with one person, and was asked to come in for an in-person interview.
The interview process was fairly easy, 4 different interviews in one room.
Each person asked a question, they then reviewed within the group and offered the position.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Apr 2020
Interview
I called my buddy at the Walmart about picking up a few shifts during all this hullabaloo and I got an inverview the next day with Debra. She called me on my phone and we talked about the job and then she offered it to me
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Milwaukee, WI) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview initially was over the phone and with my experience from my resume I qualified easily during the Covid 19 months that the start at home ban was enforced across the world. The orientation was shortened to get me started on the job and trained as quickly as possible. Instead of a full 8 hour day of orientation I only had a 30 minute intro to the companies policies. Very brief but to the point. Learn the rest as I go along by experiencing and asking the right questions. Work force was shortened at Walmart's for to most experienced associates leaving to avoid Covid 19. I did not get sick before, while working, and still am not to this day. Looking forward to getting back to the work force.
