I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Mount Laurel, NJ) in Mar 2015
Interview
A week after I applied online, I got a call back and scheduled for a phone interview in about 2 weeks. I passed this round then I had in-person interview about 4 days after my phone interview. However I didn't get offer for this job. Both interviews had so many questions about customer service. They gave you situations and tell them what you would do. When I had in-person interview, everything went well and I thought I would get offer for this job. I guess someone else had more experiences than me.
Quick and Easy, within 2 weeks I was hired. Only one interview and training. Training was a long process. Everyone was very friendly. Cashing training was very detailed so when you went on live it was easy.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Pottsville, PA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Done initially through Campus Recruiting - the interviewing process took about a month, longer than usual but because I was recommended for another position. The interview process was pretty normal, they have standardized questions and write down your answers on pre-made packets. I interviewed for a distribution Team Leader role in Pottsville, PA, (1 on campus, 1 on the phone, 1 at the PA location) while I was a good "values match" for the company my interviewers thought I would be better suited for a customer facing role in one of their stores.
Therefore Wegmans transferred my resume to their VA offices (as I expressed interest there). After that I had one more in-person interview at one of their store locations with an HR head and operations manager - in which I was asked similar questions to the previous interviews. I contacted them this week, and they verbally told me I have an offer, I have not decided whether to accept or not.
