I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Bengaluru) in Nov 2021
Interview
Only 2 rounds - technical and managerial. During covid both rounds were virtual , tech round being telephonic. Tech round questions around core Java basic/intermediate level , mainly focusing on OOPs concept, compiler , JRE basics, Java POJO classes, collection framework, thread synchronization basics, and basic design patterns. Managerial round is more of an informal "get to know" introduction call with actual reporting manager. Not much of investigative questioning happens at this round. At last, HR calls for salary discussion. As of now ESOP option is not available at Sr. Software Engg. level. Just fixed and variable comp. along with industry standard benefits such as insurance health+life cover etc.

Question 1
What is instance initializer block? What is static in Java? How Hashmap is implemented? Give examples of thread synchronized data structures in Java JDK/JVM/JRE concepts etc.
2 technical and 1 managerial round. Technical includes all basic technical interview questions. Managerial is easy, if tech is done it is easy to clear this as well. Keep your basics very clear.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wells Fargo
Interview
The interview was detailed for a 10 years of experience. The interviewers mocked for not knowing or remembering the details for the question asked. This is a great let down for me . Didn't expect this kind of behavior . There were 2 interviewers . You can deny the candidate for not knowing the technology but should not fall to the level of mocking them for it. This shows the plight of the team .And I'm happy I would not be clearing the round , because who wants to join such team.
