I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zillow
Interview
Typical process - recruiter call, hiring manager call, and an interview loop. All of the managers that interviewed me were fabulous, and the interviews went great. Honestly though, very disappointed with the recruiting team. So unresponsive. It’s a bad look to have candidates spending so much time between interviews and prepping for the interviews, and then not answer a basic question over email. I have not gotten a single answer to a question I have asked over email (4 separate times). They only send the info for your next interview and that is it. Not sure if I will be taking the job yet, as it has put a bad taste in my mouth, and stress before I even start working there. I have also worked with a few different recruiters, making it confusing. I was told I was receiving an offer but got no other info. Who knows
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow (Aurora, CO) in Mar 2021
Interview
I applied online via a referral. I received an email from a recruiter a few days later to set up a brief 30 minute phone interview. From there the recruiter provided an overview on the role, expectorations and next steps. She asked general interview questions and then said that her coordinator would be in touch the next day or so after regarding moving forward in the process. The coordinator reached out the next day via email to gather my availability for a panel interview via zoom. I was scheduled the following week to meet with 4 interviewers which included 3 sales managers and 1 senior AE. Each interview was 1 on 1 and 30 mins in length where they asked several behavioral questions that revolved around the values of the company. The recruiter sent over prep material prior to this interview as well. Overall a very streamlined and easy process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Zillow (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Honestly the most seamless interview process I have experienced in years! From the initial email outreach by the recruiter to signing the paperwork, it only took two weeks! Everyone was simply the best. The recruiter (Zillow employee, not outside) offered a second interview on the phone during the first interview, called the night before to help me prepare and checked up after my interview was complete. She was amazing!
Process:
1) HR screening
2) Back-to-back Zoom interviews with a Director, + 2 Regional Sales Manages (30 min. each, one role play)
3) Offer within 2 days
I can't speak more highly about Zillow, their interview processes and their people!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What is your biggest weakness
2. Why Zillow
3. Tell me about a time you had with a difficult client. How did you handle it? What was the outcome? What did you learn?
