I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2018
Interview
It was one phone call with the hiring manager, then an onsite round of 3 interviewers and 1 HR. I was given pretty much no choice but only one particular day to go in and interview due to team travel schedules. At the onsite, the interviews each lasted around 30 minutes, all behavioral and it almost seemed that the team wasn't trying hard to get to know me . During the HR round, the recruiter told me they were also considering an interval candidate, and the team would be debriefing right after my interviews, and she would no doubt be in touch with me with results the next day. I didn't hear from her as she promised, but instead, 3 days later, got a canned rejection email from the recruiter. I've interviewed at multiple companies but this one felt the most "not serious" and almost a waste of time.

Interview
It was a half day process where I had 4 one hour interviews excluding the time I spent with recruiters at the beginning and end of the interview. People were courteous and gave me a chance to ask questions and that was a good part. However, it was a chaotic process overall, there was no interview framework, it was not clear what they are probing and what the goal for a particular interview is. I just did not get the feel for where the interview was proceeding, it just felt like a haphazard collection of some questions thrown at the candidate. I failed to relate to the interviewer or make any connection. Also, I really had to work hard to get any response after the interview. I had a couple of other offers and I had requested an earlier response. Despite that, I had to wait and try to reach recruiters several times. Having said that, I have to say that the recruiters were kind and very helpful.

Interview
Phone call then invite to interview in person. The phone call went really well and the in-person interview was just ok. I really disliked that they provided so little feedback. Afterward, I had to follow up to hear back on whether I received the offer or not though I was already sure when I was walking out that I didn't.
