I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zillow in Nov 2021
Interview
Simply the worst experience ever!
The first recruiter called me without preparing and spent 15 minutes straight to read through some papers then asked some silly questions such as "Do you know HTML?" even though the role is Senior Front End Engineer.
The second recruiter sent an email a week after that to schedule a technical interview via phone with an engineer from Zillow. This is weird because I'm supposed to do some coding but the interview is scheduled to talk to the engineer via phone.
On the day of the interview, the engineer didn't call. I then received an email from Zillow to apologize and ask me for some time slots to reschedule the interview because the engineer couldn't make it. I replied back immediately but haven't still received any reply from them.
It's totally a waste of time. I guess the hiring is frozen after they laid off 2000 people.

Do you know HTML?
Have you ever mentioned someone?

Interview
I had 2 tech screens after a recruiter reached out. The screens were done using HackerRank and the prompts were appropriate to the role, which is appreciated. The prompts were both building simple React components with some follow up questions.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow (Seattle, WA) in May 2016
Interview
The hiring process was blazingly fast, I got response from HR the next day I applied online and scheduled a phone tech screen the next week. After getting good feedback, I went to Seattle headquarter for onsite after preparing for another 2 weeks.
