I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Zillow in Jan 2019
Interview
Got contacted by recruiter on LinkedIn. Got scheduled for a tech round and was told I will be given a question on Hackerrank code pairs to be solved and will be judged accordingly. However, the interviewer was in no mood to put up a coding questions and asked questions randomly about web, something not on my resume. Quite disappointing. The interviewing panel needs a check. The recruiters are going a great job though!

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2018
Interview
After talking to a recruiter at a University career fair, had an interview at my university that lasted around an hour. Followed up with a Seattle-office onsite that included 3 interviews, each about 50 minutes. Finished onsite with an office tour. Each interview had a technical aspect and a few minutes of behavioral questions and time to ask the interviewer questions. Final decision released within 2 work days of onsite interview. From career fair to final offer the whole process took a little over a month.

Interview
I spoke to a couple of engineers at the career fair at my university and then heard back a little while later about an on campus interview. The on campus interview was mostly technical, just a couple of behavioral questions. I had two coding questions. I solved both of them and answered some questions about runtime/optimization. I heard back a couple of days later and they invited me to an on site interview at their office in seattle. I had three 50 minute interviews that were similar to the first round interview (just basic data structures/algorithms). They got back to me the next day, saying that I got it!
