I had done a fair amount of preparation as well as an informational interview with a current employee, so I felt there was nothing terribly difficult or unexpected. I did feel there was a strong desire and understanding that because of the investment Yardi makes in its employees that the interview was as much about making sure I was a good fit for the company and vice versa.
The role playing for me was a bit difficult because I didn't have any sales experience, but they're really good at helping you out if you're stuck.

They asked me about how I got into wanting to do sales, and some qualities that I have that made me think I could be successful at this role.
A lot of the interview questions focused on past experiences throughout college as well as personality based questions. The interview was very comfortable and conversational rather than a "rapid fire" question based interview process.
