The technical questions focused mainly on SQL, DB design, and some ETL / systems design discussions. Additionally, there were case-based questions assessing what data you would collect and how you would conduct analysis for a given experiment. What I enjoyed about the interview process is that the technical questions tested your critical thinking. I find this approach a better assessment of engineering capabilities than interviewers who toss tricky LeetCode-style questions at you.

The interview was the chance to understand how GetGround is organised to make sure the company makes data-informed decisions. Overall the impression of the team was great, everyone was very knowledgeable and I learn something during the interview process, which doesn't happen all the time. The type of questions they ask in the final rounds really helps understand your strength and weaknesses and everyone in the company I've met have a healthy ego and feedback-obsessed attitude they express in the company career page.
