- 2nd Round => This is an interesting round!!!!! 2nd round was taken by some manager. I will call him a non-technical person because I observed him. Let me explain this in detail: He started with some normal JavaScript basic questions. and when I started explaining the answers, he interrupted me multiple times. And Started doing some cross-questions. Cross-questions are obviously valid because interviewers usually do that to confuse the candidate. but I am pretty much sure, he was doing something else. because he was not giving chance to me to speak it out properly... And most of the time, he was unnecessarily showing off. and talking some jargon... he asked some questions about the async and promise, I started explaining to him. but I don't know what was the problem with him.. he was unnecessarily pulling my legs. Whenever I start giving the answers, he interrupted me most of the time, even without explaining me the previous answer. I was really shocked for a moment. It's not the first time, I was giving interviews. I was part of Red Hat, Cisco, Walmart, and Zeta. And never faced this kind of person. I think the problem here is, a mismatch of technical skills. What happens if some non-technical person will take the technical interview. ? And the funny part is When he said that "ReactJS is a language" WOW... :) :) :) Such a great moment... Really Is ReactJS a language? He gave me some problem-solving. I have written the code. maybe I could have optimized more. Now when I was explaining the solution. he was a bit confused about the logic also. And at the last, he said that you could have used "let and const" instead of "var"? Ohhh My God... Is it really matter to use let and const for small interview questions? time complexity is matter. Right? Here important is, whether I know the difference b/w var and block-level scope. Right? he could have asked this question rather than saying just use the let and const. I think he heard from someone "let and const" is good and "var" is dead... But really I telling you "var" has its own beauty in JS, you can't do all the things with let and const. I am not going deep here for the "var". He also said that your JS basic is not good.. WOW. It was like ... I can't say here anything. :) Just one piece of advice to the management people: "Please don't allow the non-technical person to take the technical round. Do you know they don't know the technical things and indirectly they are misleading the candidates with the wrong concepts"
