- Explain polymorphism - Explain inheritance - What’s the difference between pass by value and pass by reference? - Where does Python store data on the stack or the heap? - How does a dictionary work under the hood in Python? - Name some design patterns and when you’ve used them - What's one thing/project in your career that you're most proud of and why?

Apart from the project demo, they asked a number of very specific questions of how I would deal with very particular scenarios when developing and deploying a new API. It seems like they were just looking for ideas on how to solve existing problems, without paying someone to do it.
