The head of department asked me: -Tell me about your current job and how it relates to the job you are applying for -Tell me a time you failed -How do you organize your work? and other questions I don't remember.
They inquired into specific skill sets in a manner that caused me to verify proficiency with the skill sets, versus know about them or being superficially exposed to the tool/skill.
Where do you fit in this organization?
They asked about management experience and approach to managing teams, though this wasn't at all a management role, and it wasn't mentioned previously in the job spec or by the recruiter. This was one of the questions that wasn't relevant and definitely threw me even though I have plenty of experience managing teams.

Tell me what you do now and what a typical day looks like to you. Why are you leaving your current job? Are you familiar with ADDIE? What do you know about Axonify? Why do you want to work at Axonify?
Why are you changing your job?
They generally ask you about the type of projects you have done in your current organisation.
They asked about my motivations, expectations, reasons for wanting to cross over into Instructional Design from education, and were interested in what it was that I thought I could do at AIHR. There were a few tricky questions, but upon answering, it didn't feel so much like a trick, more of an opportunity to show how much I could grow - perhaps I'm just optimistic!
