Why do you want to work for this Bank?
“Can you describe a time when you identified a significant risk in a loan or credit process? How did you handle it, and what was the outcome?”
How do you handle a difficult situation.
Of course, the: about yourself questions; what brings you to AmeriHome; any experience in mortgages; what makes you a good fit for the company; what is your day to day like (i.e. hobbies, activities, etc). Because I didn't have prior corporate experience, they did note this and asked questions about what I thought about being part of a corporate company. Don't get me wrong, they do definitely drill you a bit, but for their as well as your best interest.
Questions were designed to learn the candidate's experience and how difficult situations were handled. Emphasis was on leadership skills and abilities being utilized in those situations.
No real difficult or unexpected questions were asked. The interviewer just went over my resume.
How do you stay organized?
They asked multiple times if travel would be an issue.
