The question that stopped me and maid me think that there is a lack of understanding when the HSE Senior Manager asked me how to prioritize PM, he was expecting the answer to be of course safety first, however, the question is not right as PM is a scheduled maintenance has to be performed for all areas, there is no prioritization in this area. Maybe the right question should have been something like that " When you are making an engineering or maintenance decision, what takes priority above all" then the answer will definitely be Safety has to have the priority above anything else.
