Basic conceptual question on trigonometry and a Olympiad level question
"I recently took a mathematics exam that covered a range of topics. The questions included a variety of equations, from linear to quadratic forms, each requiring different methods of solving, such as substitution and elimination techniques. Another major section of the exam was devoted to algebra, where I encountered problems involving polynomial expressions, simplifying and factoring terms, and solving inequalities. The algebra section also included word problems that tested my understanding of functions, sequences, and the properties of exponents. Overall, the exam was designed to assess my knowledge and application of fundamental mathematical concepts. It required a strong understanding of both basic and advanced algebraic methods to perform well."
They started out with a description of the school and its history. They asked me to talk about myself in general, no questions about what I was currenty doing and specific skills. They asked why I wanted to teach in the IB program.
