Part 1 This question is geared towards assessing your understanding of mobile game design. Pocket Gems develops both interactive story games (Episode) and core games (War Dragons, Wild Beyond), so we want to learn more about your interest in either of our genres. a. List 5 of your favorite games with a brief description of why you believe them to be well designed (one sentence or keywords is enough). Please include at least 2 mobile games, and 2 games within the interactive story or core space. b. Choose two of the games from your list and describe two things for each game that you would do to improve the game if you were the PM working on that title. Think about the technical architecture, gameplay, design (feature and/or narrative), user experience, and be as detailed/specific as possible. Why are these changes important or valuable to make? c. Choose one interactive story product from your list. Describe what aspects of the game you think distinguishes it from other games in the genre, and please be specific. Part 2: This question is geared towards assessing your ability to approach ambiguous problems in a structured way, and to make a decision based on data. You need to buy a car and have a choice of gasoline powered, hybrid, or EV. a. You have some details about each car listed below. Upfront Costs : Gas Car: $20,000 Hybrid Car: $23,000 Electric Vehicle: $30,000 Fuel Costs : Gas: $4 per gallon Electricity: $0.20 per KWhr What additional information do you need to make a decision on which car to buy? b.
