I had a screening call with the recruiter asking me about my role and expected salary details . I found the recruiter's tone not so professional , specially when I was asked about my expected salary. As a recruiter , you can tell me what salary you are offering for the role or that you are not okay with the expectation but you cannot be critical about the candidate's expectation. With that being said , after the online assessment until the scheduled interview day , I was being updated / reminded of the interview process. I had an online assessment . Got a call from recruiter saying I had cleared the assessment. I was initially given a day (verbally) to interview but later got an official date (which was different from the said date which was understandable ) to interview . On the scheduled date I had joined the call but no interviewer joined the call. I again got a call from the recruiter saying there is some network issue on the interviewer's side(which was also understandable) . I was verbally again told 3 days on which the interview could happen but have been ghosted by the recruiter. They might have had their own reasons to not proceed but ghosting is not the professional way to communicate. As much as you value your time to recruit candidates within a short time , a candidate's time is also valuable.
