Why do you want to work for Samsung?
Implement Decision tree; Implement gradient descent;
The one-way interview questions were: 1. Provide an example of a technical search/analysis project you worked on. How did you approach it and what were the outcomes? 2. What prior experience do you have with protection and control assets? How might that apply to this role? 3. How would you implement a new control system? 4. How do you ensure effective communication as part of a team. Provide an example of when you had to communicate technical information to a non-technical team member. Most of rounds 2 and 3 were pretty typical interview questions that lead naturally into conversations - tell me about your background, how have you handled conflicts with coworkers/management, tell me about a mistake you made and how you corrected it. The technical grilling ranged from networking questions (VPNs, tree spanning, DMZ configuration) to knowledge about specific, specialized equipment (different protection relays by manufacturer and part number). The presentation I used was for a research project that was in a fairly different field that was extremely thorough, so they didn't have many questions for me. I imagine that if you use a presentation about power (or another topic on which the team is knowledgeable) the Q&A session might be more involved.
