One of BIT’s trials has finished and the result is that there is no statistically detectable impact. There is a lot of interest in the process evaluation and particularly any insight it can give that will help explain why the intervention doesn’t appear to have been successful. When producing the report, the internal policy lead wants your team to indicate how many people reported each kind of barrier and facilitator to the intervention and use that to explain why the intervention didn’t work. What approach do you take to reporting and how would you explain it to the policy lead?
