Tell me about your recent experience
System Design, enterprise architecture, performance improvements, behavioral questions.
OOPS concepts like constructors, C# / .Net concepts like reflection - advantages,, disadvantages, ASP.Net performance features - caching, Database optimization techniques - People management based questions. I was expecting the interview to be at the level of Senior Engineering manager, while it turned out to be a developer role based questionnaire. Looks like the role definition isn't being bothered in the interview rather what the interviewer skill set and what he wants to ask upon
Please explain the Earned Value Management system and processes.
Another huge part of the interview focus was cultural fit. There were a lot of questions about what is important to me being part of a team, how I would handle difficult situations, conflicting points of view, prioritization challenges, etc.
Questions about Salesforce, the products Salesforce offers, why I want to join.
Technical/academic questions that seemed to be not related to the role - but around my resume. I didn't like that the interview didn't match (at all :-)) their interview prep guidelines (no behavioral questions etc.) but I appreciated that Amazon designated a very senior guy to spend 1hr just on a screening call.
Design a software system which can stream the data and also store the videos
Design the database and API for a very angi specific scenario (Questionnaire that pros should answer for Angi to assess if the Pro is capable of providing a service, store the scores, retake the test) Coding - Moving an object on a 2D array with specific rules (which direction do you move, when can you move) Arch Review - Spot issues with a Jr engineer's arch doc (product requirements, data driven decisions, use of right tech etc) In all if you know your stuff, tech rounds were not hard, they were enjoyable. I messed Data Modeling but that isn't my strength, apparently Angi cares deeply for that round for Sr Managers too. Leadership was pretty standard: One round with product, they want to see evidence of data driven decisions and this isn't a critical round per my understanding (as in this won't sway the decision unless of course you never worked with product or you don't know anything about Angi) EM experience, handling EMs, promoting staff engineers, ICs vs EMs, hiring etc.
