Interview with the recruiter was standard for the position. They did ask what my current salary was, which is illegal, but I was ready with how to answer having done research ahead of time. After you get through the recruiter, they send you a list of 10-20 links to learn about the company. I recommend going through those as some articles addressed specifically how they’ve adapted their interview and recruitment to address DEI. Hiring manager asked for elevator pitch off the bat, rest of the interview was conversational. Interview process with the potential colleague was the most challenging, I received a call 5 minutes before hand letting me know I would receive a file to review and have 3 mins to do so and take notes. Interview was focused on all info I gleaned from that file - sample P&L and sample of how they measure guest feedback. Training asked a bunch of questions from a coaching perspective. HRs focus was typical, things like what does work/life mean to me, what values I’m looking for in an employer, etc. Ironically, after all the questions nothing was asked about DEI.
