I asked them about overtime as a salaried employee.

Asked about choices of libraries chosen for a project discussed, why one vs another - what were deciding factors?
Questions covered a variety of areas including topics such as experience leading teams, knowledge of agile methodologies, technical skills, development tools, communication and leadership skills, industry trends, and mentoring team members.
The next phone interview was with a manager in the organization that has the open position. This interviewer's accent was very thick, I work with people from all over the world with all kinds of accents and I had to have him repeat questions two or three times just to understand what the question was generally about - I was only picking up every other word - which makes a phone interview extremely difficult. I explained early in the interview that I had managed 40+ people in 5 different teams and some projects I did not technically work myself, but if he had a technical question I could go as deep as they wanted to go. He proceeded to ask me about a very specific project and immediately fixated on what the database synch-rates were as I walked through this project that I managed.
What was the overall interview experience like?
For tech, you will usually go through 3 rounds of interviews (phone, code test, and then for a senior role a final assignment followed by a presentation to a panel)
