The issue here was there were not any difficult or unexpected questions. He asked very few direct questions to me, and seemed really distracted the whole time. It didn't appear he had done this a lot, and the interview was pretty uncomfortable. I didn't pursue the position further.
You basically have to show up with some retail background and be professional. The last few stores I worked at they virtually handed to keys and title over to the cosmetic girl and photo guy.
