(CONT. from above) I was aware I would need to complete a drug test (which I had never done before) and also knew I would complete my i9 within the first few days of starting my job. I had completed all of my pre-employment that had been asked of me and hadn't heard from them in a few days and then all of a sudden I received a Rescinded offer email from them three days after I completed all my background check information saying they rescinded my offer due to not completing my pre-employment qualifications. This was a complete shock to me as I had been checking at least twice a day and checking my junk mail. I talked to the recruiter and was justifiably upset. I had completed everything I thought had been required of me and I guess she had done the same. I come to find out there was an email about a drug test I was supposed to have received (never did) so I can see how that would look bad like I am trying to dodge that, which was not the case. The company was unwilling to hear me out, look into the possibility of a human error on their end, or contact me to let me know this was missing before they rescinded the offer. The VP of HR was involved as was what would be my future employer and no one thought to contact me, which they had done before when I hadn't gotten back to them on the original offer letter.
