Although the position was listed as Senior Accountant - Distressed Debt I learned in the interview it was more of a loan reconciliation position. It was stressed that the person should enjoy loan reconciliations. This was a surprise since the position was listed as an accounting role. They also required a timed psychometric test, unusual for a loan reconciliation position.

Lot of questions to see if we are fit for the position they are looking for.
Asking me about different coding and file formats that I had no idea about, but pretended I did.
